Niederegger marzipan museum

As well as being a beautiful city with great buildings, and that typical laid back European feel to it, Lübeck is home to many marzipan manufacturers. The most famous one is Niederegger, and they have a café / shop, that also has a museum about marzipan and its part in the story of Lübeck. The blip is a sculpture made in marzipan in the museum depicting important people in the history of the city. The extras are the Lübeck devil and a typical street in the city. It’s well worth a visit. We were going to stay in Oldenburg near Bremen, but there were horrendous queues on the autobahn near Bremen, so we bailed out and went back to the campsite we had been to on our way north.
