CITY OF YORK

We took the dog for a stroll along the foothpath that follows the River Ouse downstream from the city to the Millenium bridge for a change. As we set out the sun was shining, however, before we had returned to the car the heavens opened and we got a little damp, well what can you expect - it is summer in the UK after all.
The photograph is looking back towards the city and Skeldergate Bridge, and for those wishing to visit the city would be far better using the Park & Ride scheme. The parking in the city is expensive and often difficult to find a space.
I will try and blip more of our wonderful city and give a little bit of history too.
