Pavey Arc and Jack's Rake

Drove down to the Langdales today and completed a walk I have wanted to do for a long time - Parked at the New Dungeon Gill and walked up to Stickle Tarn (which was stunningly calm). Also see the extra. Then scrambled up Jack's Rake which is visible in the picture as the diagonal line going up the face of Pavey Arc from bottom centre to the top left.(I've now completed all the Lake District's best known grade 1 scrambles).

Did Pavey Arc, Thunacar Knott, Pike O'Stickle and Loft Crag - a really hot day and a wonderful walk - a couple of pints in the Stickle Barn afterwards was well earned! (Wainwright total: 184 - only 30 to go!)

Today would also have been my Mum and Dad's wedding anniversary
