When Big R and I moved here from his law schools days living in Detroit Mi. we traveled out here with three Siberian Huskys--the mom and two pups and that was insane.  We moved out here with alot of our stuff in our two door car plus the three dogs!  It was crazythen when we were in our twenties.  We moved to Seattle in 1975 ready for adventure....no jobs and a rental wreck of a place to live....On the way out while we were eating a diner meal...we looked out at our car and the three dogs noses were pressed against the front windshield watching our every move.  Our houseplants were up front on the floor of the passenger side....they ate the plants ...so the dogs survived but not the plants.  My mom had also asked us to pack a friend's son's accordian in our trunk.  He lived out here then and she was sure he wanted it.  There was no smile on his face when we delivered it to him.  No smile on our faces when we saw the dogs had eaten the plants while we dined on cheap burgers.  Sigh  Those were the days....???  ( all three of our beloved huskies have crossed the rainbow bridge long ago)
