Tree top take off

A beautiful blue sky over the flowing tide on the Machias River greeted us this morning. Our friends the crows were enjoying the morning as much as we, cawing and swooping about with shimmering black feathers over house and river.

We're off to Lubec and Dennysville today. There's an exhibit of John James Audobon's bird drawings at the Denny's River River Historical Society.

For the Record,
This day came in bright, clear and dry, no humidity. It feels like Maine should feel in September.

All hands healthy
