The BFG!

The annual Norland Scarecrow Festival is taking place this weekend and the torrential rain and monsoon downpours were definitely not enough to put me off going to see them. I donned my ever attractive waterproof trousers and waterproof coat and off I went. The theme for the event this year is 'books' and the residents have all taken the theme in their individual ways making for a variety of fantastic scarecrows. 

This is the BFG, but other books represented included many titles my Julia Donaldson, Topsy and Tim, Animal Farm and The Very Hungry Caterpillar!

I am now drying out ready for Strictly Come Dancing :-D
