New arrival

This little hen has been sitting on seven eggs - donated by other hens - inside a cat carrier. Yesterday this little pale yellow chick was the first to hatch. I have moved them all to a big hutch and hopefully it won't be too long before the siblings arrive.

Sadly, the little chick who arrived at the end of july disappeared from her hutch and could not be found.
