Experimenting

The day was sunny and breezy so the sea was sparkly and saily boats were in full sail. Spouseman spotted this specimen way off in the distance so I experimented with maximum zoom. Astonishingly, this is hand-held. I went indoors to find the tripod which hasn't been used for centuries and removed dust and cobwebs enough to attach the camera but by then the boat was at such a distance I couldn't find it in the view-finder.
