Pedal Power!

Many of the streets in Glasgow's city centre were closed today as the Tour of Britain cycle race started this morning from George Square. If I hadn't been in town for church I would have missed the spectacle of 104 cyclists, motor bikes, support cars and maintenance vans racing up Buchanan Street aka Glasgow's 'Style Mile'  In the blink of an eye the peloton swept round into West George Street and they were gone on their way to Castle Douglas.  Sadly I wasn't in the right place to see the famous faces.
