Surprise party!

I finished my run of night shifts this morning & was delighted to get into bed with the sound of the rain on the window. When I woke up the sun was shining & it was a beautiful day. Soon after I woke we headed out to a surprise 50th birthday party for my friend arranged at short notice by her husband. She was completely shocked & it was a real pleasure to see her reaction when she walked into the venue. Here she is with a very exotic cocktail! Back home now & feet up. An early night as I am exhausted after a very very busy spell at work.
