Burn it with fire!

I noticed this morning that our tree was covered in these wee caterpillars, which I thought was pretty cool. Then I googled them (to see what kind of caterpillars they were).and it turns out they are sawfly larvae. Given that the tree was absolutely crawling with them, the entire tree must now be burned with copious amounts of fire.
