Tough Times

Final friendly tonight. Few players missing, so an emergency trialist (who was never the fittest and hasn't played for 6 months, but thanks for the effort Chris).

Went down 3 v 1 after being 3 down at half time (basic errors, low sun never helped) and missing a penalty 2nd half. Lost a player to injury (so down to 10) but they had 2 sent off.....in a friendly.....far from it. We are like the walking wounded tonight. Kicked off the park. Whilst we expect things to get more physical it crossed the line a few times tonight.

We need to learn from the match (not just the physical side but also who to dig deep as a team and adjust the depth of the defensive line). But I suppose it is better to get that out the way pre-season. Let's hope next Monday is a different outcome.
