Beth and Felix in the field

We walked down to the pond this morning.  It was low, but it looks like a beaver has created a dam and another pond above it.  It was a wonderful hike down and then we went back through the trees to the road which was very interesting to see how the trees have gotten so big the vegetation between them is very sparse so much easier talking then before.  A good morning with scrambled eggs and Carleton Farms Sausage and English muffins and grapefruit and good strong coffee.  Which we needed for the drive home.  Driving on Labor Day is a silly idea but the only way to get there and back.  We made light of it as best we could and we sat in the parking lot of I-5 and managed to dodge the idiots and arrive home safely.  Augie and Kevin greeted us.  Augie is very tired from his trip but very happy to see us.  Good to be home.  I back blipped Saturday and Sunday.  Hope you had as good a weekend as I did.
