The Chase.....

Yesterday, I spent at least half an hour with a delightful lady (who told me more than once that she was over 90), looking for various items, none of which we have sold since about 1944!

She wanted stockings with seams...solid block mascara...foam curlers...setting lotion...etc etc.

Thankfully she wasn't remotely bothered when I kept having to say things like "Sorry, we don't sell malt in jars anymore," and "No, I'm not sure anyone actually keeps girdles in stock!!"

There wasn't a single thing she wanted, that we actually had.

So imagine my delight when she informed me that her name was Mrs Wildgoose......
