A Street in Cambridge

Jack and I have found ourselves in an unplanned week of culture. Today we saw an afternoon showing of NTLive The Deep Blue Sea by Terence Rattigan with wonderful Helen McCrory in the lead. Tomorrow an evening showing of the new Woody Allen film, Cafe Society. Then on Thursday evening we are going to London to see Kenneth Branagh's production The Entertainer by John Osborne. We booked the theatre tickets in January. The cinema ones were booked in a panic yesterday as we realised we were going to miss the two cinema events if we didnt act quickly!

A bit like buses...we haven't been to the cinema or London theatre for months and then everything you want to see arrives at the same time!

So a pretty side street in Cambridge, much quieter as most tourists have headed home!
