The Fog, the Sheep and the Crow

Today's the day ........................... to loom

We drove north to Edinburgh today via Moffat - and we went through every kind of weather on the way.

The sun was shining around Carlisle with blue skies and the occasional white, fluffy cloud.  By the time we were going over the Devil's Beeftub  the clouds had descended and had formed a thick fog that blotted out the light.  The air was full of moisture that clung to your clothes and hair.

This sheep, and the crow, loomed out of the mist.  I couldn't help wondering how they came to be together and what they had been discussing before I appeared with my camera .....................
