In Memory

In the sidecar class, the final race of the Scottish season is also the Jock Taylor Memorial Trophy race.

Jock was a World Champion sidecar rider, who tragically died in an accident in 1982, and the trophy has been awarded in his name ever since. Such was his standing in the sport, that it regularly attracts some of the top riders to compete in the event.

This year, it was won by Phil Bell with his passenger Tony Belsey.
They raced in the colours of Phil's uncle Ian Bell, who lost his life at the Isle of Man TT back in June.
