Irish Adventure

Day one:

Ha'Penny Bridge

An early start like always when I seem to go on holiday, up at 4:30 for our flight from Birmingham to Dublin.

Most of us have been to Dublin except Kyle and Rachael from Michigan so we had to do the Guinness tour. Kyle likes to sample the local drinks anyway so seemed to be a good start to the holiday. See Extra of the team.

We then had lunch in the wonderful Gallaghers for lunch where most of us had traditional Irish dishes and some wonderful home made cider.

The rest of the afternoon was spent wondering round the streets taking in the great atmosphere the city has to offer.

Early evening we headed out on Temple Bar to get our dose of live music, I do love a bit of traditional folk whether it English, Irish or American. We had a good couple of bands entertain us until about 12:00 before the tiredness of the early start got us.

Extras include colour in Temple Bar, Living rough in amongst the lively district, local bike taxi and Guinness factory.

A great first day in Ireland.
