So chiffchaff chuffed!

Here's another first for me: caught when four chattery little chiffchaffs landed on the fuchsia and hydrangea right outside my kitchen window, rooting around for insects. I'd never seen one before, never mind photographed one. They were tiny - about 4" - and so delicate they looked as if they were made of porcelain. So you can see why I'm chiffchaff chuffed!

Sun's just broken through the dense sea mist and it's very warm. Might go outdoors and do some gardening while awaiting delivery of our new dishwasher.
