Around every corner

This morning was tree cuting time. Once every year, this exercise rears its ugly  head. It takes me about five hours to do the tops, and then the front of the trees. The inside is a lot easier, and is cut the following day. There is at least another hour spent talking to neighbours, and friends, as they walk, or drive bye.
I remember buying these conifers many years ago, and paying £1.99 each for them.
Can you remember who sang, Around every corner?
