Thameslink's new trains are slowly being rolled out into service (when they don't break down). All part of the Thameslink 2000 project (it got renamed to lose the embarassment of delivering the longer trains a mere 16 years and several franchise holders late).

While air-conditioned and full of technology, they are not the most comfortable, and the ride is rather rougher than the ones they are replacing.
