Abstract of Sorts

On my lunch time walk, it was 41 C with the humidex...what we here refer to the 'real feel' temperature.  I took my time by shortening my normal route but was so pleased that I did.  Although this cormorant was by no means the best photo, the fact that the sun (and perhaps humidity in the air?) caused this cool refractions of light, made it the most intriguing for me.  There were actually three cormorants and all of them perched on shopping carts that had been tossed in this little pond (it is behind a mall).  Sad but true...
