Yes Mum?

We had our Walking for Health Group summer outing today, to St Fagan's, the Museum of Welsh Life. That's a bit of misnomer, in my opinion, because it's actually a collection of Welsh buildings which have been moved from all over the country and painstakingly rebuilt in a large parkland. They are from different eras, ranging from Iron Age thatched huts (these ones recreated rather than moved!) to WW2 pre-fabs. If they hadn't been moved to St Fagan's they would certainly have fallen into disrepair where they were. It's a very educational place and great for a day out. You can walk as much or as little as you want.

Although I took about a hundred photos I have chosen to blip this mallard (I think she is) tufted duck and her ducklings rather than one of the buildings. This is because a) they are so sweet and b) there is no chance to blip ducks in Abergavenny.

For a view of one of the buildings at St Fagan's look here.
