Wow, what a privilege and honour to be invited along to the Maton Guitars 70th birthday celebrations where Tommy Emmanuel was the special guest performer for the night. Tommy has always been on top of my list of favourite guitar players in the world today. I even had the opportunity to shoot some video for an interview that Greg Phillips from Australian Musician.com.au was conducting just before the sound check and to personally meet and chat to my guitar hero before the show. He is an absolute gentleman, passionate, inspiring and still enjoying every second of his life.
A night I won't forget either.
