Besieged

We have at least four very large Silver Birch trees in adjoining neighbours' gardens.

They always drop immense quantities of seeds on us.
But this year the trees have produced an unbelievable volume of seeds.
They invade our garden the flat, in our hair, in our food, in our beds, everywhere.

Every spider web for miles has caught these seeds, producing this rather abstract pattern shown today.

To give you an idea of the "snowfall" the Extra is a small portion of a garden path.

There are squillions of them!!!
