From a peace nation to a profiteer on occupation?

The Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Tord Lien, will be the leader of a delegation visiting Israel to strengthen the ties in research in the petroleum- and energy sector. That is a decision that go against Norwegian politics for many years.

There is major gas discovery on the seabed off the coast of Gaza and Israel where the boundaries are unclear and disputed. Israel plans to start extracting the gas, but lack the expertise and therefore wants to cooperate with Norway. If Norway agrees, we will contribute to violence of International law.
