Anna and Henry

Down on the farm

We had a better night - he slept for 7 hours in a row, but that meant when he woke up at 5.30 it was time to get up for the day!

I was glad that he wanted an early nap because it meant that he was awake in time to go for his 1yr jabs - he would have been even more grumpy if I'd have had to wake him up! He only cried when the needles went in, but there were 3 of them.

After that we had a few errands then went home for a nap - but Henry had other ideas! After 20 mins of him shouting, standing up and generally wanting to play we gave up and went to the farm.

We hadn't been to the farm but after I'd got over the entrance price (£4.50!) we had a good look at the animals. We practiced our signs: ducks, cows, sheep, pigs, horse, donkey, chicken, rabbit and guinea pig. He kept saying duck to the sheep! Todays blip is Henry stroking a rabbit - he was a bit enthusiastic at first and tried to poke it in the eye then he got the idea of gentle. After a quick ride around the farmyard on a little push along tractor he was getting tired so we came home for a nap.

He's been very grizzly and clingy this evening - I'm guessing that is down to the vaccinations. Calpol time!
