Spotted

Age spots infest a mummified pepper, adding to its character and charisma.  I have never known summer's heat to be so oppressive that it even decimated pepper plants, but this summer's did!  I'm hoping they'll pick back up as the temps drop, because I've really missed both sweet and hot peppers from the garden.  In the meantime, I'll settle for their artistic beauty to substitute for their tastiness.
