Swordfish?

This is one of the stones forming an arch under Queen's Bridge. The arch is a remnant of the older Victoria Bridge, built in 1902 and replaced in 1960.

When I first saw this, I thought it was painted, and perhaps linked to graffiti on the stone above. Now I'm not so sure. Seeing patterns where there are none is called apophenia. Do you have it?
