Impromtu

Trip to Birmingham.  

.... And an overnight stay with good friend Diane in Wolverhampton where a morning stroll round the garden saw Roscoea 'Red Gurkha' looking fine after the overnight rain.

Teething troubles for Ruth meant an impromptu trip to QAC yesterday.  Ruth has found the whole experience both exciting ..... and tiring.  With exhaustion came the need to renegotiate some arrangements.  The team here are hugely dedicated to meeting the individual needs of the young people and an impromptu meeting at lunchtime today saw staff from various departments working with us to fix things.  The outcome has reassured Ruth that next week will be OK and there will be new plans each of the next two weeks before we meet to review things again.
 
Having left Heatwave Norwich in shorts and a shirt yesterday, with the aircon blowing cold, the return journey tonight will be through wet and windy weather.
