Poppies

We headed into Lincoln today for a wander around the city. We walked past the cathedral and then headed into the castle, where the ceramic remembrance poppies from the Tower of London are currently. They're beautiful, although not quite as powerful as I thought they were going to be. We did the walk around the castle walls, which was really interesting!

We then headed down to the shops, down Steep Hill which has lots of lovely boutiques. Kit bought a piece of artwork which was lovely and will look lovely in her house. We headed down towards the lake and then headed back to the car.

Spent the night with Auntie Anne and Uncle Richard chatting away and catching up. Read some more of my book.
