Butterfly Ball

Went out for a walk and lunch on a lovely summers's with a friend we haven't seen for a while. Much of the walk was in woodland, but a section took us through meadow where there were many butterflies. This is my first large skipper of the year, if I've got my ID right, so I was a bit disappointed not to have got it in focus. The other one is a gatekeeper
