Baby Robin

The patio heater - brilliant place to bring up a brood: solid, waterproof, robin sized hole for entrance doubling up as a handle to open the gas cylinder door - you don't get much better than that OR our robin nest box - very down market apparently! We have always had the two nests, the rivalry, the oneupman(robin)ship!! One up the garden and one down......well.......there....

Am playing today with my new toy and had a few shots with it this lunchtime. First in the spotlight was this fellow, our errant robin from yesterday and in fact possibly the same one rescued from the lounge last week - again and again!!!! Friendly, colourful and dainty SO the front runner in the popularity stakes. My little friend on the handle of the garden fork!
