"Magnolia" Goes Home!

This morning there was a release of "Magnolia" the loggerhead sea turtle that was rescued and near death after stranding on a nearby beach back in May and nursed back to health.
A huge crowd was on hand including media and I was issued a press credential for the event which was nice. In return I donated my time and all of my photos to the park where the turtle was released.
It was an amazing and emotional morning for all involved and I saw more than a few tears (along with many cheers) flowing at the end.
