Sunset over the Firth of Forth

We took advantage of the low tide to walk out on the tidal flats beyond Musselburgh beach to see the birds that feed out there, and to listen to their calls - oystercatchers, curlews, plovers and the rest. There's something about those massed bird calls that does my soul a powerful lot of good. The sunset was a bonus.
