Craig at The Glad Cafe

It's all happening at 1006a Pollokshaws Road in Shawlands, Glasgow. The Glad Cafe is due to open next Friday 17 August.

My first visit to see this new southside cafe/venue. There will be a cafe/bar area with piano, and a performance area with bar and a two tier raised stage. I almost got the full tour including the kitchen, the office and soon to be green room. Craig was painting in the "loo" corridor, so I didn't manage to inspect "the facilities".

Lots of musical events in the planning, and also a series of talks. I'll probably pop back sometime next week, to catch more of the transformation before the opening day.
