We've spent the afternoon doing some tidying and cutting back , once we got all the wood up to the dump. N found 2 of these amazing caterpillars on our climbing rose. It is [ we think] the larvae of the Common Marbled Carpet moth.Fortunately they eat most flowering plants apparently so we put them in the garden amongst the plants and they will hopefully survive the winter to hatch next spring :)
