Capable Aliscotia

We visited Alnwick Castle - wonderful.  In the castle grounds were some frames through which we could view the countryside which Capability Brown had designed in the 18th century. It is described as Alnwick gardens although there is a separate exhibition available showing off more formal gardens next to the Castle. Anyway, I asked Aliscotia to stand behind the structure. I think the image works well.

Although the day started with pouring rain it ended up being a lovely afternoon and evening. Northumberland is a place we shall revisit for sure.
