Market madness

A healthy day of walking - over 10 miles covered as I went for a stroll around Lake Union first up and the suburbs of Seattle (partly as prep for a dawn 11 mile run tomorrow) then down into world famous bustling market where fishmongers sell their goods and every other trade jumps on the back of all the opportunities. You name it someone will either be cooking or selling if. We also visited the original Starbucks and though this made for a half decent picture it's so popular you would have seen about 6,000 other people taking photos within my photo..

Then I carried on my hiking with a walk to the three sports stadiums in Seattle. Football, baseball and the NFL teams all play here - with the Seattle Seahawks in mid game action against the Dolphins as I literally walked around the stadium. The noise of 86,000 was deafening.

Off back down to the market for dinner and this snap as it started to quieten down there
