Adverts

This is my copy of Escoffier's "A guide to modern cookery" which I covered in a page from the Manchester Evening News at some point. I'm not sure when this was but it's clearly a while. Check the advert in section 109 which promises £70 - £80 a week for a manageress in a florist shop. Most of the adverts refer applicants to Mr C F Parker or The Manager; all very formal.I hope that all the positions were filled and that every candidate was happy.
