Oh beautiful Stockholm

Fab day mooching about the streets of the Old Quarter, Gamla Stan - Christmas decoration purchased. Posh lunch at the sky high Gondolen over looking the beautiful city. Then a trip to Junibacken, a children's storybook museum inspired by Pippa Longstocking author; Astrid Lingren. A lazy wander back through the tree lined streets, stopping off for a pint before braving the fish stand outside our hotel for a plate of fried herring with mash, pickled cucumber and dill mayo which was surprisingly very tasty.

Esther was an absolute star. I'm sure Daddy has bribed her:

"Esther I need you to be good, so Mummy will let me book another holiday, I'll fill your money box with pound coins."
