The Phoenix Rises

Loch Duich

A lovely end to the day. A sunset that we just caught after a wonderful bar supper at the "Sold" Kintail lodge. A local version of Basil Fawlty was leaning on the bar, sporting his kilt and driving his Smart car. Chris boasted, "Of course it's my close friends that have bought this place". The waitress was completely unaware of this "Fact", but what do I /she know?

We had visited the "sharper than a razor" Y McL. Ally and he enjoyed sharing bloke stuff and the prawns that we took him seemed to go down well. Thanks to being very lucky and hitting the square in Portree on the annual fund raiser for the RNLI, we had prawns for lunch and Y had them for afternoon tea! I think we were in his good books.

A lovely leisurely drive to Kintail and over to see Myra and John who were staying At Scallasaig. We shared a half glass of white and headed for our favourite spot with Claudette for the night.

A gorgeous night.
