Dragonfly

I had a very productive morning but feeling a bit chilly indoors, I popped out into the garden sunshine to do some of my physio exercises and this lovely lady zipped past me and settled close by. I think she's a Red-veined Darter but british-dragonfliesorg.uk says it's hard to tell the different Darters apart. Never having looked at them in detail before, I can only agree!

One thing that really struck me was the mobility and huge size of her eyes as she kept swivelling them around to look at me.
