Common bird, uncommon view

Continuing on with the theme of Australian native birds - this one is very common in South Australia. It's a New Holland Honey Eater, but this is an uncommon view of it - front on.

He (or she) looks quite different to the usual shots of him that you see. He's busy feeding on the nectar in our camellia, and although you can't quite see it in this shot, but it's loaded with flowers this year.

He looks like a Port (or Collingwood) supporter with his black and white stripes (Newcastle if you live in the UK). He is a bit more colourful though, with yellow stripes down his wings. I'll try and get a different pose tomorrow, but it's not easy. They are very shy, and very quick little birds.
