After the storm

We had a very stormy late afternoon today but it was followed by this beautiful sunset!  Always good to see from the back of the house.

Mom is really working on the not getting up in the morning now.  I went round this morning at 10.30 and she was still in bed refusing to get up for Dad.  I think he liked the peace actually.  We sorted it out eventually.  Then I went to meet a old college friend, who i don't particularly know very well but she comes to Birmingham every few weeks for a female barbershop choir rehearsal so when we were at our reunion in July, she suggested meeting up!  We had 40 years of catching up to do!

Took the nephew shopping this afternoon - he wanted some Marks and Spencer Food so he can feed himself up in case things go badly on Monday...
