Trebuchet

After one of MrM's big Sunday breakfasts, we set up the stall again, after which I went back to the caravan to wash up - though I did spend a long while watching the trebuchet in action! Yes, BAAFest is the only festival to boast a full-size working trebuchet...

Late morning, MrM went on a little jaunt to Kielder on an unsuccessful attempt to see red squirrels. And on his return, Andrea and I went to watch 'Elbow Jane' on the main stage - had never heard of them before, and they turned out to be a great band. Afterwards, my gastronomic treat of the weekend - a wood-fired pizza. Thin base topped with cheese, mushrooms, olives and wild garlic. Yum! MrM, for reasons best known to himself, opted to go back to the caravan for tinned steak with some rice. There's no accounting for taste...

We packed up the stall and went in to the main stage for the last concerts - a thoroughly enjoyable evening!
