Beach Diggers

Day 2 of the LPH Photo workshop saw 6 of us heading out to the Solway coast near Silloth. With the tide going out, it was a good opportunity for some wide vistas,sand textures and odd cloud formations.  However, the sight of the day had to be these 2 JCBs trundling along the waters edge. One can only imagine the size of the sand castle they could produce, but they were apparently taking timbers along the beach to repair the gryones. They clearly have to work with the tide timetable, so tomorrow will be up a 4 in the morning for the early low tide.
