Hoxa Head

Last night Gorgeous decided that today we would take a drive south, down the barriers and beyond. We took a walk out at Hoxa Head where there is a large complex of old war buildings. The dogs ran about, high as kites. There is a huge rabbit population but they all seem to be suffering with Myxomatosis. Rabbit carcasses laid strewn everywhere whilst very ill bunnies swaggered slowly about. One almost landed on me having fallen over the side of a rocky trench...It was all a very sad sight and we felt obliged to deploy the dogs to do a bit of a clear up of any bunnies we saw suffering. They did a good and quick job of each one.

We then moved on to the Sands of Wright and did a 4 mile walk. The dogs are absolutely shattered. After wolfing their dinner down and having seconds, they retired to their beds and burped and sighed heavily before falling into a deep sleep.
