The Bass Rock

Day Three Hundred and Seventy.

Todays image comes from a little visit down the river and to view The Bass Rock.

The Bass Rock is the largest colony in Europe for Gannets and at times the "rock' looks like there is a permanent white fog cloud just above the top... its not its actual Gannets flying around it.

The Rock is very smelly but well worth a visit if you have good sea legs and a strong stomach..and don't forget the camera!
