Silvana as an artist has been a frequent visitor to our community, and many times a resident. S this evening for Silvana to open an exhibition in our gallery was a special occasion. Several years ago Silvana was supported by council to work as an artist in residence in our community, working to assist in furthering art as a cultural pursuit. In doing so Silvana came in contact with many people, myself included. This evenings opening was named after the town Muswellbrook, "Face'brook - a portrayal". The exhibit is of portraits of the many people she met along her artistic journey. Todays blip is from this evenings exhibit, me standing in front of a portrait of me.
